Temperature Control
Second generation display case cooling device using Peltier Cells
Temperature control for microclimate environments can be done, but costs (both of original investment and operation may be substantial. It is important to note that the smaller the environment to be controlled, the easier (and cheaper) it is to provide temperature. Also, a greater difference between controlled and ambient temperatures increases the challenge.
Before contacting us, we advise you to consider how small a space you actually need to control. For example, a single sheet document can be enclosed in a very small space and appropriately cooled. This controlled space may then be enclosed in a display case providing appropriate exhibition sight lines, lighting and security. In like manner, a small object can be placed in a small enclosure within a much larger case.
We are experts in custom designed solutions for cooling and humidity control based on Peltier Cell technologies. These solutions are most effective on small spaces. We also offer components for controlling temperature and humidity in larger museum quality showcases.
As each installation has its own challenges, we encourage you to contact us to discuss your options.
