Climate Control for Archives

Archive environmental control can be surprisingly easy and inexpensive – when temperature control is not an issue and you control only the humidity. This would be the case when your archive room is surrounded by a building maintained at normal human comfort temperatures (and not exposed to any external walls). In such a case, given a well sealed room, humidity levels can be reliably and inexpensively maintained with a microclimate humidity control device.

Our Maxi Series units are well-suited to these applications. Note that this type of control precludes the installation of work stations or other activities which would provide an unacceptable system load. If you have a (largely) unoccupied archive room, microclimate humidity control can provide a reliable and inexpensive solution.
